Registration Now Open for the Sixth JEDI Academy

Registration for the 6th biannual JEDI Academy is now open!

The 6th JEDI Academy will be held virtually via Zoom June 21 -  25, 2021.

The Joint Effort for Data Assimilation Integration (JEDI) is an open, community resource to enhance, develop, and test tools, components, and methodologies for data assimilation across multiple DA and modeling systems. The JEDI Academy is designed to introduce new users to the design and structure of JEDI, and to teach them how to access, use, and contribute to JEDI software. All interested parties are welcome to apply.

The format will include virtual lectures and interactive practical activities that provide hands-on experience building, running, and configuring JEDI applications. Virtual lecture sessions may be recorded for future training use. The schedule will run from 9am to 4pm MT, ending early (1pm MT) on June 25. Academy content will highlight the latest version 1.1 of JEDI-FV3, which will be included in an upcoming release.

Registration is limited to 50 applicants and will remain open until June 1, 2021. To apply, please fill out this registration form
